Turkish Shabbat Services (Nov 2026)
from $0.00
As fall settles in, come together in the warmth of community for Turkish Shabbat Services, led by our community member Akiva Sanders. Drawing on melodies from the Ottoman era through present-day Istanbul, Akiva will take us on a musical journey through centuries of Turkish Jewish tradition. Whether you come from a Turkish background or are simply curious to experience another Sephardic tradition, we would love to welcome you for an evening of prayer, song, and connection.
Services will include Kabbalat Shabbat and Arvit, followed by Kiddush. Please note that dinner will not be served.
Friday, November 6, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Tribeca Synagogue
49 White Street, New York, NY 10013
The event is free but pre-registration is required for security reasons.
